From April 10th to 12th, 2019, the "Green Waters and Green Mountains, Science and Technology Innovation Future" seminar was jointly organized by DuPont China Group Co., Ltd., Ruian Insulation Materials Co., Ltd., and Axalta Coating Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Sanya.
This conference invited industry experts to jointly discuss DuPont's NOMEX (R) global market strategy, Ruian processing services, the latest hybrid vehicle technology (battery) and direction, and NOMEX for hybrid vehicles ? Solutions, case analysis of motor insulation failure, development trends of offshore wind power, application of Axalta insulation paint in new energy vehicles, and other related topics.
At the beginning of the meeting, Jia Quancheng, the marketing manager of Rui'an, introduced in detail the company profiles of more than 30 strategic partners who participated in the meeting to the guests.
Subsequently, Gao Shengyu, Vice President of Sales for DuPont China, patiently and meticulously introduced the strategies and changes after the merger and split of DuPont and Dow. In 2019, the sales volume of new energy vehicles exceeded 1.27 million, a year-on-year increase of 59.9%, and the growth rate was astonishing. Enterprises have turned their attention to new energy vehicles, and the insulation material industry is no exception. New energy vehicle motors have higher requirements for the insulation, thermal conductivity, and environmental friendliness of insulation materials, and customers have many doubts about the selection of insulation materials.
Invited guest Professor Lu Baoqi, Technical Advisor and Professor level Senior Engineer of Shanghai Electric Machinery Association, shared with everyone the insulation structure design and key insulation processes of electric vehicle motors.
At the same time, Professor Ying Hongliang from Shanghai Electric Drive also analyzed the challenges and development trends of insulation systems for new energy vehicle motors to the attending guests. In addition, Nie Yingfa, the chief engineer of Tiancun in Huizhou, shared his years of experience in using DuPont nomex paper with everyone, and compared DuPont nomex paper and domestic paper comprehensively, giving customers a clearer understanding of material selection.
