On December 30th, the launch ceremony of the "Qingtong Plan" for returning overseas students from Guangming District was held at the Quanfu Building. More than 150 people participated in the event, including Wang Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, Cai Ying, Secretary of the Guangming District Committee and District Mayor, Liu Xin, Deputy Minister of the Municipal Party Committee United Front Work Department, Deputy Director of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, and Vice Chairman of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Federation, Zeng Duowei, Zhang Feng, and Zhou Baixin, district leaders, representatives of the city and district returnee associations, and members of the Guangming District Overseas Chinese Association.
At the launch ceremony of the "Qingtong Plan", the Guangming District Overseas Students Association issued appointment certificates to representatives of the Service Committee, and held the signing ceremony of the Guangming District Returned Overseas Students Service Strategic Cooperation Agreement and the awarding ceremony of the Guangming District Returned Overseas Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Practice Base. It is reported that the Guangming District Overseas Students Association has established a service committee with five service groups to provide services for returning overseas students in five aspects: policy interpretation, innovation and entrepreneurship, employment matching, social networking, and caring for public welfare. This allows returning overseas students to feel the warmth and enthusiasm of "returning home" when they come to Guangming.
The first batch of "Guangming District Returned Overseas Students Employment and Entrepreneurship Practice Base" award ceremony was held in Guangming. Through selection, 10 units have been evaluated, including Shenzhen Comprehensive Particle Facility Research Institute, Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, Weiguang Biotechnology, China Merchants Smart City, CIMC Smart Park, Rui'an Composite Materials (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Sanlipu Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., Dongjiang Group, Shenzhen Geya Watch Industry Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Xidesheng Bicycle Co., Ltd.
The leader's speech mentioned that the 10 practice bases established in this award will rely on their own resource advantages to build a bridge for returning overseas students to participate in social practice, accumulate work experience, and improve their employment and entrepreneurship abilities. They will solve the "bottleneck" problems on the road of returning overseas students to employment and entrepreneurship, and help them grow and succeed.
As one of the high-tech enterprises in Guangming District, Rui'an will strive to create an environment suitable for returning overseas students to start businesses, fulfill its corporate responsibilities, set an example, and contribute to building a better Guangming together.
